Deviousness |
years ago, 14--15, i did a sculpture very similar but more surreal. later a couple of people said it looked like some design by Adam Jones or one of the graphic designers or artists the band Tool uses. pissed me off. i love Tool, but mine was mine and inspired by my love. who has gone crazy. for real. both things -- her condition and our relationship then and since and now, and your design, make me want to do a new sculpture, or drawing, or both. i'll let you know if i do.
thanks for the inspiration. though i am messed up and lazy so rarely do my inspirations, know that it is already being done over and over endlessly in my head and will be for the rest of my living. that is a gift from you which is one of the most cherished i can receive. bless.
drawing -- doing any artwork -- in cafes and trains (i get motion sockness, arghhh, but it is cool to vomit when doing a work that is considered by most to be 'disturbing' in some way and then vomit either on it or not -- i've made frfiends that way, and though so far have eschewed selling any of my art and even sabotaged a private gallery showing back in my self-mutilation days, i've gotten offers (in Manhattan especially but even in squalid regions in and around Philly; also in the woody mountain regions around Jim Thorpe -- Mauch Chunk consarnit!; also areas like New Hope and once in the Rodin Museum, that bastard Rodin cheater fake user ass, the woman taught him all he knew and her stuff is better, still who am i to say any of that huge sculpture stuff is anything but awe-agape to me -- hey maybe Damien Hirsch will embarrass himself next by trying to do geuine sculpture after his wonderfully panned, by ALL critics and rich snobs alike, oil painting exhibit, ha that ass; i still have hope the art world which is all about fashion when ANY money is involved takes a turn for the better becuz of all that, but if it is, it's happening slower than molasses)
immersed in dew (n my imagination) -w.
never really seen anything like it.
just overall awesome piece.
I love your creativity!
